Default rust spots on silver RAM

Hey guys, anyone else have rust spots on their paint, its not rust from body rot because it also appears on the plastic painted parts. It seems a lot like "rail dust" problems I've had on previous GM cars.

It can also come from brake dust.

Clay bar normally works good at removing rail dust.

Ironx won't completely remove it. It breaks down and dissolve iron particles and the stuff is heavily scented so use it outside...or in a well ventilated area. You'll still have to clay afterwards to remove the remaining. the rust spots are a combination of brake dust, rail dust and environmental contaminants that are currently sitting on top of your paint. every vehicle gets it but it's more obvious on the lighter coloured vehicles. If left on the paint long enough it will actually etch through the paint and can cause rust to form
