Default Black Express wheels

Hello, I am very interested in buying a set of these wheels http://moparonlineparts.com/1500-whe...ck-p-4529.html

I was wondering do these have the plastic cover like the chrome clad wheels do? If you could answer this for me I would appreciate it. Thank you

Thats a really good question and although I do not have my hands on one based on the images of the wheel I have seen there is no protruding lip like on the chrome clad ones. These are powder coated black directly on the aluminum.

The reason chrome clad exists is that it holds up better than chrome plated aluminum believe it or not. Powder coated wheels hold up very well and this process has not changed much over the years.

Thank you, that is what I wanted to know. Do you know if these are the same wheels as the other chrome clads just without the cover? An is this part #1LB72SZ0AA the caps that fit these wheels?

I think the Ram Black wheels are actually wheels, powdercoated black...not coating the plastic caps...some of the Express have wheels(or most)

I would say yes they are roughly the same wheel but perhaps some changes are made after the casting. Yes those are the correct caps to use. We will add a not about using those caps as well.

Default Black Wheels

Yes, they are not clad (plastic covered) wheels.
