Default Leveling Kit Height Question

I've done a little research but haven't been able to find an answer. With a front 3" leveling kit spacer, will I need to install longer shocks as well?

Your truck is 2wd obviously? Yes you will want to install new shocks with the 3" spacers or you will have a very rough ride as the shocks will be pretty much fully extended at normal ride height.

Thanks man. I appreciate the advice. The rake on this thing is horrible! The front is 3 1/4" lower than the rear and I feel like I'm sliding out of my seat...

If you boost the front 3 inches and put some weight in the back or on the hitch and youwill feel like you are looking at the sky...

Yeah I knew that would happen so I installed the leveling kit yesterday and ordered a Firestone air spring kit this morning. I went ahead and reused the factory shocks and it seems to have the same ride quality as before and I really love the look now. It's is perfectly level. Maybe now I will be able to see down these backroads with my low beams...lol.
