I just visited the MFG's website. They look super-easy to install. How was your install, Fuzz?

Last pair I had were OEM installed by the dealer. I had to take them back off and put a bead of silicone between the fender liner and the flap though. Without it, mud and water would run down the fender well liner, between the liner and the mud flap and then run down the backside of the flap! I don't mind a bid muddy streak on the front side of the mud flap - That's what it's there for! But always having these unsightly streaks down the back had to go!

For the rear you remove 2 current screws that hold your fender well liner in, place the flap in place and reinstall the screws. That's about as easy as it gets!

For the front, you rotate your steering wheel to full lock, turn off the truck, remove 1 existing screw that holds the fender well liner in place, put the flap in position and start the existing screw back in its hole, add an additional screw with washer and nut that is provided with flaps in the next higher hole that is already there from the factory and tighten both. The kit includes one more set of hardware for each front if you choose to drill one additional hole towards the bottom of the liner and inboard about 4 inches to stiffen the flap. I did it and you still don't have to take the tire off using a regular 3/8" drill.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Sounds way easier than the 'universal' flaps, Fuzz!

Good point about the silicone, Yard. I'll have some handy when the Husky's get here!

So, how did the husky's go in? I am curious if you really do not have to drill.

They require 'minimal' drilling,,,

I drilled (1 hole) through the plastic liners to secure the most 'inboard' edge of the flap. I may have drilled a couple more holes, can't remember, but they do utilize some of the existing OEM screws,,, That's nice as you don't have to worry a lot about getting the driver side flap on the same height as the passenger side,,,

One additional benefit of the Huskys is they also include some clear 'film' that goes on between the outside edge of your fender and the flap itself,,, helps to make sure the flap doesn't rub up against your paint,,,,

I gotta get me a set of these. I noticed a couple rock chips on the passenger door. It is only in the clear, but it has less than 500 miles on it! Can I buff those rock dings out? The paint appears to be in tact, but there is a small divet there from the rocks.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but has anyone tried the 3M invisible bra material on the lower part of the 1/4 panel to stop the rock chips in the paint. I think it comes in 6" wide rolls.
