Thanks Bolo. Keep us updated as you clean your install up. I think its one of the best gear wise on the forum.

The only thing I would have done differently is use another sub box. I dont like the way its not shaped to the outline of the under seat storage and worst of of all it covers up the drink holders!... My daughter would flip out if she couldn't put her water bottles anywhere...ha!

I will probably look at two 10" subs with a NET Audio enclosure for the exact reason stated above.

How do you like having two 12" subs? God those things must pound!

I'm with you on the box. I've been saying if I had to do it again, I'd go Net Audio over Fox box. I didn't even learn of net audio until after I had purchased my fox box and by then it was already processing and I had waited a long time to get a box. I enjoy 2 - 12's but i don't run them hard. My pioneers might do 500W and I keep the LC2i turned down pretty low. i like to feel the bass but really like the upper ranges to be loud and clear.

I appreciate the comment about the gear, took me a while to figure out what I wanted. But those PHD's really sealed the deal for me. I'm going to get a video up of the sound in the truck and a distance test this weekend. I'll try to get the copyright stuff figured out. That might help anyone on the fence with the PHD's.

Great write up on the components. Replacing my door speakers will be my next step but working with the factory 'alpine' amp is a real pain.

Quick update, after a month or so running the PHD's and the JL's, dialing in the controls on the LC2i, doing the best I could to level match all of the amps and playing with the controls on the H/U, everything is sounding really nice and balanced. Video of the sounds inside and then a distance test coming soon.

Great build. I just finished mine as well. I had an pro install it all, I wasn't up for the task. I went with the phd's too, and they sound phenomenal.

I am thinking of buy 2 sets of the FB 6.1 pros to replace all my door speakers. Also buying 2x 4channel amps to run all the components with around 150 rms watts to each one. Did the PHDs fit in the front and rear with just an adapter plate or did you need to add more depth?

Thanks! Looks good!

Depth wasn't an issue. the adapter plates i bought from scosche sucked and i had to cut them a lot to get the diameter to fit. but depth is no big deal.
