Compared to what you all do, I'm pretty limited. I lost 66 pounds and walk on a treadmill daily to keep my weight down. I don't call it fun, but I don't want to gain the weight back.

Many construction equipment operators get a workout on the job

this driver would never have that belly if he had to cover the load by hand,
tossing the tarp up onto the load, then climbing into the bed, spreading the tarp out, climbing back down off of the truck & then tying the tarp down.
I worked for a company that refused to buy a tarping system, they said that the tarping arms didn't last long, because the loader operators were always damaging them

I'm a bit "old school"

I have a 4 day split, using push/pull break down..

Day 1: chest+tris
off
Day 2: Back+bis
off
Day 3: Legs
off
Day 4: Misc. day... Shoulders, abs Traps

I work 8-5 and goto gym directly after work.. plus 1 weekend day

effort and focus depends on how well I've slept how tired I am etc..

but I'm more trying to maintain and stay in decent shape then try and break records

my love of food and desire to not get fat are a constant battle with each other so I use the gym and weights as a way to try and fight it off

That's a good split. Maybe throw a few sets for forearms after legs or switch abs to your leg day and do forearms after shoulders and traps.

A combination of HIIT and heavy lifting does it for me. I've been at it for almost a year now, and I've dropped 96 lbs. in the process.

Enjoy? That's a strong word...

I use to run off an on but stopped once the kid popped out since time was limited. With that said, my wife dropped a big hint she wants to do the Dopey Challenge in 2015 and I am to do it with her. For those that don't want to click the link, the Dopey is a 5k, then a 10k, then a half marathon, then a full marathon over 4 days. 48.6 miles. Dopey indeed.

So I've been training since November, dropped about 35 lbs, and will be doing my first half marathon this weekend across the state.

Needless to say, you guys aren't getting trucks tracked the first couple of weeks in January 2015
