Default In-Process Rebuild

Hello,This is my first post here,,Just to give a somewhat brief description of my truck I bought,,It is a 1995 Ram 2500 4x4 V10.I bought this truck on a online auction for a pretty good price (I Thought),it has 93,000 miles on it and when I looked it over ,I knew it needed some brake work. After re doing the leaking lines we found right away,I decided to put in all newbrakes in the front. Once trying to take apart the front hubs, which took over 7 hrs with a air chisel to get the hubs loose,I replace all shaft joints and hubs and brakes. The 4x4 light was on ,even when in 2 wheel,so installed a new actuator ,this cured that problem.Moved on to the service engine light issue, after talking to a lot of people,we decided to replace the egr valve.Since most of the labor was already done,we put in the lower intake manifold gasket also..After putting back together,I have a truck with NO warning lights staying on, on the truck.Runs very smooth!!!..I decided to put new black rims and 35" tires on it,,Looks great compared to before.I am now looking to replace and regear the diffs,,I have lost 600 RPM's at 70MPH,,You really have to kick it down to pass,,I believe 4:10 gears should bring that back from the 3:54 that are in it..I do want to know if these trucks use the True-Lox ,or what is all in the rear diff. I will stop for know and update later,,P.S I have had to replace a brake line about every 2 wks,,only 2 to go,these will be re-done when I install the rear brake system,,I believe I will install a conversion kit to change to disc in back..Let me know any ideas people have,,love to hear info on my truck!!!!

I'm guessing the holiday crush has had an effect on peoples ability to answer as fast as you'd like. While I don't have an answer for your question, I hope you find the info you need.

If/when you return, post some pics of your truck, sounds like a sweet project.
