Default Light Issues

Hello fellas, let me start by saying i dont really know anything about trucks or cars. with that being said i had to replace a headlight switch in my 98 ram 1500. I had no headlights but I had all other lights so i replaced the switch now the healights work but not the tail lights or dash lights i know wires touched when i was replacing the switch so i assumed it was a fuse but all fuses are good. does anyone have any ideas. thanks for the help

We just had an issue like this and it turned out to be a fuse. Fuse # 14 & 11 if I remember correctly. Use a test light and check both sides of the fuse.

Edit:Here is that thread I was talking about.
