Default interrior trim color code locations

I have a 1995 Ram 5.2 4x2 I am doing a lot of work to. I originally got the truck when I was 17 and it has been in the family ever since. Mechanically it is sound but I am doing some performance upgrades. Tho now I'm working on replacing or recovering the interior after almost 20 years the cloth seat covers carpet headliner etc were tired to say the least. Most of my interior is a light gray color, the seats dash carpet etc, but like the outside it is two-tone I know where the trim and paint codes are located on the vin sticker on the lh door jam but I'm sure that will be for the primary color of the trim. Like the paint codepm4 is the red not the silver of the two tone paint. I used to work for gm and on gm trucks multi colored trim would have secondary color codes on the vehicle rpo(regular production option) sticker. Does the 1995 ram have a label or metal tag etc of this type that I could find out what color the visors and headliner and overhead console are? I know according to the Dodge catalog there are atleast two different "white" interior colors. Off white and quartz I believe are the technical names exactly what the difference is I don't know but I'm sure it's enough for a mismatch.

Thanks for any info.

You might try checking at this site to see if your build sheet is there and lists everything - type in your full VIN after the = sign:

Nope no Window sticker for the vin i'm going to guess because of the age. I gave it the full vin I assume that is correct yes not say the last 8 like the chrysler parts catalog asks for?

It has to be the full 17 characters. Maybe a call to Chrysler support?

Here are the Interior trim codes for 94-97, see if you can find even a partial on the plate:

P1DS - Medium Grey
P1C3 - Presidio Grey
P1F6 - Saddle Tan
P1B7 - Cordovan Brown
B3C3 - Graphite

The Body code plate is attached to the floor pan under the passenger seat or on the passenger side of the front face of the radiator panel. There are seven lines of information, but lines 5, 6, and 7 are not used to define service information. Line 1 is at the bottom of the plate, line 7 is at the top. Information reads from left to right. The interior trim code is position 6.

P1d5 is on both the plate under the seat (no carpet in atm) and on the door. I'm thinking this is a grey color. It isn't actually med grey I got med grey carpet for replacement as it is just slightly darker. So won't show dirt as quickly. Mine is slightly lighter like smoke grey or such. The problem however is the head liner console overhead assist handle visors and attaching plastic are a white color totally different from the carpet and seats. Med grey is very close to the original seats/carpet. I will try calling customers assist if I can find a working number so far 18004adodge and 18002479743 both from the chrysler sit are disconnected go figure.

I got in touch with customers assist. They are supposed to call me back in 1 business day about a build sheet. Just for the record 18004236343 aka 18004adodge does work must have hit a number wrong. Tho more research has shown p1d5 to also be called med grey tho med grey that is combined with 40/20/40 premium cloth seats. I'm guessing it is a sub code for one type of grey cloth vs another. I have seen this on gm build shees/rpo labels. I would not find it odd if dodge had similar sub codes.

Check under the hood for the build sticker. It should be by the hood latch.

P1DS or P1D5 are probably the same colour, there may have easily been a typo along the way in what one person perceived to be the character; this is medium-grey.

One thing I did forget and it was custom long ago is to check underneath the seats themselves, there may be a build sheet lodged in the springs that has all that information.
