Default Multi symptom electrical issue.

2000 1500 4x4. When turn on headlight switch, right turn signal indicator lights-on dash--no right front marker light on. Bulb is good- already replaced. Also when push horn it does not work, but lights right turn signal indicator, and right marker light comes on. Push horn and switch turn signal to right and both elements of bulb light. Right turn signal front and back work but blinks very fast like a bad bulb. Help!!!!!!!!!! I have whole dash torn out and have searched all accessible wire harnesses. All this started when driving, turning right with signal on and honked horn.

You've got a serious short somewhere. I know that's no help and they are a PITA to track down.

thanks for the response. actually not a short but loss of ground in circuit. power going out to junction plug JC3--(located on frame rail - right side under head lights and horn mounting position) and backfeeding/bleeding off voltage out to all components horn, marker light/turn signal bulb and indicator on dash, being fed from plug. cut off 3 of 4 blacks---(grounds) tied back together with another wire and grounded all to frame. works like a charm!!!! Green monster back on the road..

Congrats! I'm an electrician. For most of the problems in DC, I say, "If it don't work, check power. If it works weird, check grounds." Good for you in finding this!
