Default Hood scoop ?

I got a hood scoop from mr hood scoop for my 2012 dodge ram.I like the look with out the grill piece. My question is i am only going to tape it down so do you think it will stay without the grill piece or do you think to much wind will get it there and force it to come off.Any opinions appreciated.

I got the hood scoop and used the two pins in the front and drilled the holes in the hood. The pins hold the front points of the hood scoop down to match the curve of the hood along with the 3M tape.

I would use the hood pins and drill the holes.

I also would not rely on just the 3M tape to hold the scoop in place. Mine does not flex with the wind, but I have the grill installed.

My install thread with pictures starts on post #4:

Honestly Im digging the look, however not for me (yet).

Not untill replacement hoods become cheaper at the junk yard, so I can cut a big hole under this scoop and make it functional. I think an AirGrabber and this scoop with a hole under it could be something else.
