Is #68137071AA the right part number for the control panel as well to be coupled with this truck?

Thanks!

Mike

Hi Benny,

Forgive my ignorance here - the seat wiring harnesses you mentioned - do they connect directly into the back of the control panel or does the control panel come with a wiring harness to conncet to the seats?

Thanks,

Mike

The seat wiring harness' connect into the body harness throughout the floor. The switch panel uses only one existing connector but the additional options are carried out on a BUS circuit using existing wiring. IF your body harness has the correct plugs for these seats you will then need to have the modules in the truck flashed for this option in order fir it to recognize and activate the circuits.

I would inquire with those on here who have done it successfully in regards to the wiring

Exclamation Help and Advice

Ok Everyone. I need some serious help. I just Purchased a 2014 Ram 1500 Big Horn SLT. I am trying to add heated seats to this system. What do I need and what will I need to do to get this all to work. I didnt need a Laramie but the heated seats and possibly a steering wheel is a must.

Hey welcome to the forum, You'll learn alot here!

Most members who have retrofitted these purchased the entire seats from another truck and with the addition of some switches and wiring have been able to make it work. As far as I know adding the heated pads to your original seats has not been done before. The steering wheel is more straight forward, I would need to start with your VIN to see your current equipment

Perhaps others can chime in with some info as well.

Exclamation Help help help mayday

Lets do this. My VIN # is 1C6RR7LG4ES125472

I am looking to Heated seats to my Ram 1500. I am open to ordering the componenets I need but prefer to order the heater pads and add to oem circuit control console and heater module if that is all I need. What code do I need to flash into my CanBus. I actually work at a dealer and my guys are clueless on how to do anything.

I bought a BigHorn SLT as it was less expensive then getting a Laramie or Sport and I figured all I want to add is the following:

Heated Driver/ Passenger Seat
Remote Start
Leather Seats
**Bonus But Do NOT HAVE TO**
Backup Sensors that intergrate into steel bumper and OEM radio
Power Passenger Seat

I am open to buy a set of Laramie Heated and Cooled Seats Brand new with all components and power passenger and drivers seat but unsure if I can just add them to my existing wiring. My drivers side is already a p[ower seat but the passenger side is not. I have a 2014 Ram 1500 Big Horn SLT.

ideas or input from anyone who has done this would be appreciated.

The sales code within the parts system is CMA but this may not be the one the tech would need.

Here are the parts required
68064271AA LF seat cushion
68064270AA RF seat cushion
68194473AA LF seat back
68194472AA RF seat back
4610134AB heated pad bottom
4610135AA heated pad back
68205022AA drivers seat back wiring
68205021AA pass seat back wiring
68205017AA drivers seat bottom wiring
68203797AA pass seat bottom wiring
68217268AA Heated seat module

82214054 Remote start kit

Leather seats - My suggestion which will be cheaper is to utilize Mopar's Katzkin program through your parts dept, Typically this can be done for about 1k with any options you want.

Backup sensor kit - I am not sure if the bed harness is going to have the necessary wiring and have never retrofitted this before.

68157562AA 6-way power pass seat adjuster
