Hopefully when he installed the relay he hooked it up properly.Beena while since I had to look closely at that year of a dodge. I can't imagine it is much different from my 71 Duster but I can't get at it for pics right now.

Did you get this sorted out yet? If not, be sure to check the main wiring block going through the firewall to the engine compartment. Corrosion can cause the connections to become less than ideal over time, especially the wire connections on the underhood side. I had to cut off the connectors and jump the hot wire through the firewall on a 1978 Dodge truck once, because it did the same thing you describe, no fire, no crank. Good Luck!

Default Damnit Janet.

Well my 85 Dodge d150 has been fixed. Somewhat. I had a mechanic find a wire that he said loose or wasn't secure. After I got it back it has been good.
After a short drive around the neighborhood to keep things working, I parked it, let it idle for a while. I put it in drive, it died. And now it has reared its Ugly No Start No Sound head again.

And so dead it sits. The truck has been good. Short trips only.

The truck has been good for about a year after said wire was repaired.so I'm not blasting my guy. After all, he is not a fan of electrical work.
