No I didn't. I thought I would and so did the shop, but once they tried the tires and wheels they fit without issue.

I thought I was sold on the CST but with this information I think I am going to have to run with this kit instead. May run the stock wheel/tire combo for a bit while I decide on new tire/wheel combo. Every time I think I am ready to pull the trigger something happens or something new pops up.

Great looking trucks guys.

Been running this setup for 4 months or so now and still am very happy with the ride quality. No issues have come up since the install. Would definitely recommend going with this kit instead of CST.

Not trying to revive an old thread, but an update on the kit - Over a year later and I still have no issues with the kit. Ride quality is still great and I still love it! Anyone who stumbles upon this kit should definitely pull the trigger on it! You won't regret it!

Thanks, you and all the other great reviews about the 4.5"/3" kit makes it an easy decision. Once I get my truck in the next few months this kit will be going on. Thanks, and your truck looks great.

If you're asking me, yes lol. I traded the truck in this thread for a 2015 2500 then I just recently traded that in and went back to a 2016 1500 sport 4x4. I belong in a 1500 truck, not a 2500 lol. Still white. I'm modding this one as it is.

Found this old thread and hoping for some guidance .....I am planning to install the 4.5 kit and wanted to put 295/65/20s on with XD spy wheels ... the 20x9 wheels have a -12 offset and 4.5 BS which would stick out a good bit -- could I use the 20x8.5 which have an +18 offset and a 5.46 BS ? I dont want the tires sticking out alot ...Would I have any clearance issues on a 2015 Crew Lonestar ?
