wagonburner is on a distinguished road
Default Newbe with big prob

Hi girls and guys. I'm the Wagonburner and it looks like one may have caught up with me. Returning from an outing on the river a very loud metallic sound started, likend to a bunch of ball bearings being run through a meat grinder or at best an idler pulley gone bad. Unfortuntly it seems to be coming from the area below the AFE intake filter. How big a problem do I have? I'm driving a 2004 Ram 3500 dually. Thanks for any input you may have.

WB

Howdy, Bill, and welcome to the Ram Forum Z. I invite you to stop by the Newbie Checkin section and introduce yourself so other members can give you a proper howdoyado.

As for the diesel question, it sounds like a pulley has come unglued, but I have to defer it to the diesel folk who will know better than I.
