Default Wiring Factory Alarm to Ramboxes?

Hi. I just noticed today that there are switches in each rambox that cutoff the lights in the rambox when the hatches are closed. Could this switch be tied in to the closest rear door (crew cab) so that the alarm goes off if the rambox is opened?

Seems reasonable and would be a great idea. I will be interested to read any more electrical savvy folks who might reply.

I think I posted this in the wrong area. I'm going to repost it in the mods section.

Maybe a mod can move it.
