Default 13' R/T Belltech 2/4'' Kit

Hey Guys,

Been following the site for a short while now. I'm on my 2nd R/T now, I had a 12' and when the 13's came out I decided to upgrade.

Both trucks I've had the Belltech 964SP kit installed locally, and both trucks I have experienced a knocking noise coming from under the bed after the install, only over moderate bumps. It happens at any speed whether on the highway or creeping in the parking lot, any moderate bump I hear this knock. After having a buddy put some weight on the tail gate and move up and down it looks and sounds to me that the upper bushing of both rear shocks is missing or not sufficient ? Has anyone else had this experience with this or a similar issue ?

The kit has been great otherwise aside from this issue. Looks great, and really gives the stance the truck deserves.

Just seems weird to me that two different trucks and yet the same issue with the Belltech kit ? Both trucks received two separate new kits from Belltech with the stiffer shocks.

I have scoured the threads here and not found anyone else writing about this ?

Any help much appreciated guys !

Here is a shot of my rig, let me know what you think. More mods to come after I finish my season in Alaska this summer !

I can't help ya with your question but that is a sweetest looking 2/4 I've seen around here in a while. Maybe it's the color or the angle but the stance is perfect and it's looking good!

Thanks spoiler, gets attention just about anywhere. That pic was taken after her first coat of wax and a detail. Unbelievable how the dealership delivered both trucks.

Sorry, can't help either, but that looks extactly like my '14, including stance. Are you sure it's not a '14?

I have changed the front grill and tailgate Ram's heads for black ones and have a Bright White Gaylord Speedstur on order. Should get here in about a week.

I used the McGaughy's coil only kit for my 2/4 drop. No issues.

Oh, and I put the Magnaflow 22" muffler on it. Love the sound. Just enough sound to cover the motor noises but a long way from loud or obnoxious and no drone.

Anybody have a good way to make the white "Ram" on my black floor mats white again?

Chris, thanks I will check the tightness of those bolts, as it seems that's where its coming from.
