You'd probably run into rubbing issues with a 4/6 drop unless you're willing to make modifications to your fenders.

Default 4/6 drop with Factory Tires.

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2008 1500 QC and want to lower it. I have been reading all the threads and I'm getting mixed info.

Will the 4/6 drop work with the factory size tires (275/60R20) without any rubbing issues?

If so, would 24's with the correct tire size of 285/40R24 with same offset as factory wheels fit the same?

I don't mind fixing any rubbing issues but I don't want to.

Mark
