My truck doesn't have the big screen, it has the medium sized touch screen. Forgive me for not knowing what the number is, I just go the truck. Any idea if this trick is doable on my pickup?

Look here for instructions on disabling the seat belt chimes:

Ok, I'm going to call this one a tip, because I'm guessing it's in the owners manual, but it took me almost a year to find it!

Ever have your lights on Auto, and it's dusk so the lights come on, but it's pretty bright out so you can't see your 8.4 radio screen anymore? I tried turning the dimmer switch as high as it would go without turning the interior lights on, but it still wasn't enough! Well, there is a detent between the highest dimmer setting, and the interior lights coming on that makes the dash lights all come on high! Works great during a rain shower (when you should have your lights on, at least that the law in MN!) or dusk.

Sorry if I was the last one to figure this out...

Mike

This feature was removed after the 11 or 12 model year. Guess too many people complained about the windows getting rolled down by accident.

Thanks! The search function kept bringing me to things that had nothing to do with seat belts. I blame my computer ignorance.
