Default How to remove lower fascia?

I ordered a light bar that I am going to out in the lower fascia area, I need to remove it and cut some of it out to for the light bar the way I want. How exactly do you do that? I tried pulling on it slightly from underneath but it didn't seem to budge

Same problem I had when I was installing my bull bar and the lower air dam. After a while of looking how to take it off, I said screw it, just measured a lot for center, measured some more, and then cut. Worked out just fine.

You might need to get a trim removal tool for the ones that go bumper to bumper(there are about 10 or so) and the ones on either end are bolts.

I don't know why they make it so damn hard to remove, I guess the theory is it should never just fall off and if you need it off take it to the dealer, If need be I will just cut it carefully on the truck, I need 20 or so inches removed out if the centre.

You pull it towards the inside of the truck. Get underneath and put pressure from the outside while pulling on the inside. There's a row of clips on the top part that need to be pulled downward and another row on the bottom that need to be pushed upwards. It's a pain but I just did it on my 2013 Sport to install tow hooks. No tools needed.

Just crawl under there and look at the back of it. You will see two rows of clips that you just push up or down (top and bottom). It pops right out. Like the other guy said, I would just measure and cut. I popped mine out to cut the whole for the hooks, then after I put it back I had to adjust the whole some. Looking back I would have just drilled a hole in the center of the area to cut out and worked from there.
