I'm surprised flowmaster kit would use that muffler if the exhaust is that loud

Yeah I called them about that dual kit, its the same muffler but as a dual outlet, and has 2 3" tailpipes, they have 5 kits ready for shipment to someone and there only building 15 more for the year at $810 each that's just to much, I will just build my own system even though my cost on that setup is $600 it will be real hard to sell any...

That's what I thought, pretty pricey.. MagnaFlow system is even more for their single pipe system.... I need to find a good exhaust shop to do some work on mine....

Where did you see a price on that Magnaflow setup? it says not available until 9/5/14 and the the dual tip setup will be possible ready by 10/5/14
Both of those systems are 4" muffler with 4" tailpipe....

I found it online I forget the website... It had the price but said it wasn't available..... Maybe it was a bogus price???????? I not sure there is a reason for 4 inch tail pipes???? guess it probably help deepen the sound but dual 4 inch pipes seems a bit much. Im not sold on dual pipes exiting out the same side, I would have to see it in person.... I think flowmasters kit looks really nice just the price is to high. Kits for other trucks are only like 650 bucks.....

LOL right on just doing the muffler swap for the 853558 is just right oh and leave the resonator on the tailpipe and put a 4X18 stainless rolled tip on there, I will have a price on that magnaflow kit shortly... a real price that is,

At this point hard to say haven't tried the Magnaflow yet, waiting until I get my full air suspension installed and the truck sitting where I want it, then see how much room I have left to either do a true 3" dual system or leave it as a single system and build a better Y section,,, The flowmaster 50 series has several noise cancelation tubes in them to help with noise reduction, where the Magnaflow dose not, thats probably why there doing that single kit with the 5X11X22 muffler it's there biggest bodied muffler, I have installed several of them on other truck models and there usually pretty quiet, but get louder as the packing there putting in them burn out....

I was thinking about the mufflex pipe... but seems steep but it'll cost my that much the do it with a flow 50 by the time I pay a shop to install it and cut the pipes..... people seem happy with the mufflex system... post up a price on the magnaflow system when you get them

Well if you lived closer I could do it for you, $200 installed for the 50 series or $180 for the Magnaflow
