Agreed, when i started looking for a truck I wanted to try out the big 4 (chev, dodge, ford and toyota) I was biased to the rams from the get go, couldnt get past the new body. went to my local toyota dealer to test the tundra crew and the sales guy not only told me that i was looking to get too much for my jeep that i was selling( i got what i wanted) and then he proceded to tell me that there are smaller trucks available. I was like WTF if I wanted a smaller truck I would be testing a smaller truck. would never go there again, well maybe once, just to park the new ram infront of his window so he can see the loss of comission from a $50000 sale.
You will find your truck and a dealer that is willing to make it happen. Just a question though, will the dealers in the US not make a trade with other dealers for a vehicle?? In Canada they will search teh canadian database for a truck with the options you want and have it shipped/driven to the dealer for the sale. just an option if they are willing to try that for you.
