Default Problem with my hyperpac

I installed my K & N CAI today, and also tried my hyperpac from hypertech, the only option it gave me was power program. I tried that, and it said there was an error and I had to call hypertech. I have the 4.7 08. Anybody have this problem or know of someone who has, please let me know.

Shame you didn't check with us first before you bought it . Chithead just acquired a Bulldog GT for his 4.7 and he loves it . I'm not impressed with Hypertech products .

Well that sucks. Not a big fan of tuner/programmers myself (like to leave things stock for reliabilityand long life). I have seen the BullyDog GT and it does look awesome and has some well tested tunes. Hope everything works out for you.

How do you like the K&N CAI? I put one on my 4.7L and I love the sound, I can't wait to put an exhaust on it now.

Awsome, I was looking into a tuner for my 2010/2011 list of mods. Will probably be the 2011 mod as this year is filled with general additions. I'll be looking into the Bulldog GT for sure now!

I love the CAI. It sounds great when you get on it. I have a flomaster 40 series on there as well, so it really sounds awesome. Gonna call hypertech and see what deal is with this tuner.

Well hypertech offered me no help. All the guy could say was try to update it online. Nothing happened. What a joke. Hopefully the folks on ebay I bought it from will reimburse me, if not maybe paypal will cover the cost.

Hyperpac - Just got mine for my 05 1500 5.7 SLT 4x4. I have about 175k miles on it. Short version of my review: LOVE IT. my truck is stock, 33 in tires.

Never liked the ultra smooth transmission shift. I did the Regular Gas tune tonight and it was extremely easy. Truck got at least 1mpg better that I found just on my ride home from work. We'll see how the average works out after I get used to the fun of extra power and firmer shifts. Def love the firmer shift.

I will fill up with premium later this week and put the Premium gas tune on it. I also changed the rev limiter 500rpm.

I still have stock exhaust and intake (just k&n filter that is dirty). I can imagine what a CAI, free flow exhaust with a free flow converter, and a basic tune up would do for this truck.

Very easy install. Very noticeable change on the first drive. Is it like my stroked big block Torino? Nope. Is it definitely an improvement? No Doubt!

I do not foresee a cammed out hotrod approach for me with this daily driver truck. My car takes care of that itch to burn rubber.

Autoanything.com had the Hyperpac 100bucks cheaper than Jegs/Summit etc.
Took 1.5 days from me clicking the button to it sitting in my hands.

Very useful data available on the Hyperpac too, water temp, trans temp, fuel temp, etc etc.
