The engine has 118,000 miles on it... and thank you rjs 2005.... i do appreciate that .02 cents!!! lol this IS my first cam install on anything... but im not scared of it.. i mean, i can follow directions.. if i can find them! lol.. i got a question though... how do you actually get the cam back in, in the exact same position as the last cam? how do you hold the valves that are open at the time, OPEN? do you hold every valve open? And what is the biggest cam i can put in the 4.7? I do have a lot of questions.. but i know this is the right place to ask them.. thanks everyone again!
I'll defer all those questions to the resident experts, as I've never done a 4.7. I'll say this much: as long as you are asking questions, you're in good shape. When you decide you don't need any more help, you're probably gonna get in trouble.
