Default Headlight Swith

Okay I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and I am installing cab lights on the truck and tapping it into the Headlight switch so when I turn on the headights the ca lights come on. I need to know what the power wire is that i need to splice into..I have wiring diagrams from haynes but they are very vague. Anyone help me out?

Silas

I be careful wiring into that switch. Those are pretty much maxed out. Running to many things off of it could blow fuse, and eventually burn the switch.

I would put in a relay or in line fuse or just run it off a toggle switch.
