Default mcgaughys or belltech advice

im looking into lowering my 2002 qc this summer i would like to do the mcgaughys 4/6 but it is 700 and so i found the belltech 3/5 for 400 and im tryin to be cheap so i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on cheap route to lower my truck

I wouldn't cheap out on these kits. The McGaughy's kits are high quality so i'd spend the money myself.

I did McGs 4/6 kit, and I love it. I am actually considering getting their 3" spring for the front so I can take the nose down another inch. What McGs gives you is a great full kit, rides amazing, aligns perfectly and actually makes the vehicle more drivable IMO. No more wagon like truck turning... Its simply as good of a kit as I have encountered after 14 lowered vehicles.
I got mine online for $650 or so, and after having it several months actually think it is an under priced kit. Its that good.

I have been told by alot of people that Bell tech. is ok. But if your going to shell out money a little extra for the Mcgaughys you will see a big difference. I have that same plan. Being up in Canada its more than that. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Cheaping out on your vehicle is kinda bad when you doing modding important components. You can cheap out on interior crap or body work, but suspension and motor isnt a good idea. I would go with Mcgaughy much more betterer

i bought the belltech kit and i didnt get the drop i wanted so i ended up using short shackles that were already on the truck.i paid $249 for the rear flip kit and i bought lowering springs for the front and it worked out great and i spent a total of $350.Depending on how low you want to go in the rear all you need to do is c-notch the frame and bolt the leaf springs into the stock location which will slam your truck and the only other things i used from the kit are the saddles and u-bolt plates but honestly with a plate of steel you can make the plates yourself and also the shock relocator brackets. but i re-used the stock u-bolts and shackles which were already on the truck but once i c-notch the frame the shackles will be coming off.i will post pics tomorrow.
