Default Bad brake booster?

i think my brake booster went out on me? I was going to back up and put my foot on the brake and put it in reverse, but when i put when i pressed down on the peddle i heard a noise and now i can literally press down with both feet and the truck will just barely slow down. any ideas?

Brake booster issue will cause a hard pedal(No vacuum assist). Pedal to the floor is a Master cylinder issue. Very common and fairly easy fix....

I agree. If you have a hissing noise and a hard pedal, the booster is shot.
