Great to hear that took care of it .

I have an 07 1500 with the same problem. Only difference is that the vibration(entire cab) occurs between 60 and 64 mph. New tires, alignment, no fix. Might look into the offered suggestions. Great site with terrrific input.

I have a problem with my Ram similar to this. When I hit the brake at around 60 mph the front shakes so bad it feels like the driver's side tire is going to come off. Any other time it is hardly noticeable or doesn't shake at all. I was thinking it may be ball joints or a bad tie rod but I tried checking them when I replaced the anti rattle clips that some decided the truck didn't need at the last brake job and there was no play in either. What do you guys think? I'll check the control arm for movement. It scares the hell out of me I tell ya what.

I have this same vibration and was about to start a thread. No need, if you dont mind I will piggy back on this one. My vibration occurs at 55 MPh and its not tire related. The U-Joinst seem ok as well. Any Help would be appreciated.

Well guess ill recap on mine too, rebalancing the driveshaft helped but seemed to isolate the vibration to a different tune. So although getting the driveshaft helped I guess I had more than one issue. Mine is a tight vibration at almost any speed, I feel it in the steering wheel, and consol where my hand/arm is. Its mostly noticable at highway 55-60mph speeds and sort of fades and gets stronger fades and gets stronger about every second. Ive been dealing with this all winter and has gotten slightly but progressivly worse. I will start by having the tires rotated and balanced and maybe even take them off myself and clean the insides of them really good.

Sounds like warped rotors to me also. Trying getting them machined, although they will probably warp again from the heat and you might just be better off getting some new performance rotors and pads.

Have you had work done to eliminate the possibility of tires? I only say that becasue you say its not tire related with certainty.

Ok...I took the truck in today, had all 4 tires re-balanced. I just got a set of 20's put on recently. I had the same vibration with the 17's that were on their prior to the 20's, and I always just thought it was the tires. Today I had the 20's road forced balanced and it could be just me, but I think its worse now. Ken the vibration I have is exactly what you describe.

It definately think its drivetrain related. Im going to try u joints next.

Oh wow, then yeah your right what are the chances of it being tires when you have done ALL that. I got two opinions on my ujoints a few months ago and said all was good, but havent had the tires balanced yet (which hopefully will be this weekend). Then again I think only joints that were checked were from the tranny back, and I feel like the vibe is coming from the front. 02blackSLT keep in touch even if its a PM and I will do the same since it sounds so similar of an issue.
