i would have to agree and say it will draw hot air into the motro from the motor. It does look kida cool but if they were longer and drew air from the grille it would be good. Maybe if you can mod it and bring the filters to the front of the truck it would be pretty cool

What about when you wash your truck?! they will get wet and that will be not good at all!

Just add the pipe I used in my CAI to that dual inlet, would get you closer to the grill. $10 each at Home Depot

I have no issues at the car wash or washing it myself, it has a filter on the inside too, just a Spectre cheapo for Auto Zone

I'm just concerned that adding it near the grille will cause problems as if the filter gets wet!

I think going through the filter, and up the pipe would be pretty hard to get to the TB. I have went through the car wash a few times, torrential downpours, and a blizzard and nothing yet, knock-knock.
