Default trans and/or diff cover

Just wondering if anyone has installed an aftermarket trans or diff cover like the Mag-Hytec for the increased fluid capacity and cooling.

I know that lower fluid temps are better but I hardly ever doing any towing so I'm not sure it would benefit me. Are the stock ones sufficient for "normal" and some "spirited" driving every now and then?

I have installed a couple for friends but haven't heard of any real benefits.

Covers are quite expensive . I could see the diff cover benefiting ya if your hauling a trailer or heavy load constantly . Other than that they look cool under there .

I have the pml deep trans pan, and the T/A performance diff cover/stud girdle, both awesome pieces, the ta cover not only looks awesome but strengthens the diff. Check them out, less than hytec.

Looked at TA cover, can you explain a little how this works/benefits? Going to change my diff fluid and planning on pulling the cover, but don't know much about the stud girdle, etc. Was going to replace the cover anyway with something else if for no other reason than visual and prob turn the old one into a parts tray

I have alloy finned cover for my G Coupe diff (same as VLSD 350Z) which also has plumbing if I ever wanted to put an external diff cooler (not really worth it unless I track the car). That setup makes sense to me because it aids cooling on a diff that runs hot enough to cook its fluids with extended hard driving in hot weather.

I have the OEM "Anti-Spin" limited slip diff on my '03. Pleading ignorance on my truck diff for cover upgrades. Is the point of your upgrade to stiffen the diff?

TIA for any additional info!
