..valves springs will do it every time...good thing you caught it early enough where the valves don't get bent..

Well my so called warranty only covered the broke valve spring. I had to pay to replace the other 15!!! Yes it was expensive but you shouldn't change just one they all need to be changed as some had some pitting.

Oh guess what! My check engine light popped on this morning. The truck is running and driving fine. It just came on any ideas? I'm going to put this on another post to see what everybody else thinks.

sounds like a stopped up fuel filter to me and having to supply gas to get it going is forcing it through the filter then
