Default uConnect location?

I got the iPod connector for the uConnect from the dealer. I pulled the bezel off on the way to work and realized it wasn't a quick install. Then I read somewhere that it was behind the glove box on the right hand side.. Is that the upper box or lower?

Anyone have pics or a diagram or anything that shows how to get to that area? It looks like the upper glove box just pops out, but I couldn't get it to budge..

Thanks!

I may be way off, but, i think the bottom glove box has to come out first, then there is a screw that holds the top box in

The connector will go in the lower box.

Ahhhhhh! That makes sense. I just remember before I bought my truck that a 2010 I looked at that had an iPod cable in the upper box, so I had assumed it was going in the upper here too.

Is the lower box hard to remove?

The lower box is very easy (no tools required!) to remove. Fully open the box, pinch the sides together where they meet the dash and gently swing the box towards the floor. Then it's just a matter of lifting the box off the hinges.
