I've got one too, but have found it's useless on glass but works alright on body panels... but i've stopped suing it cuz it scratched the paint one time when it picked up some grit.

I have used one for many years. Just make sure its clean everytime you swipe, haven't scratched a vehicle yet. I also chamois after it too, but the blade gets most of the water out of the way.
If you do get fine scratches they should buff out anyways.

+1 on that. I always wipe the blade after every swipe. Never had a problem with scratching and I only have to use 1 towel to dry even the largest of vehicles.

If you have a Jet Black vehicle(non-metallic, just straight black) you can see the scratches these make no matter what precautions you take. I use a little one for windows, but use "The Absorber" to dry painted surfaces. Not a fan of these for drying cars.

i have one, not a big fan. especially on hot days in the sun when the water drys quick and tends to leave water spots that a chamois takes away, the blade doesnt work worth a sh*t. IMHO dont buy the blade and invest in a real good sheep/lamb skin chamois not a synthetic one. well worth the money

You shouldn't have a rock on your car you supposively just washed it! I've got one and never scratched anything with it yet, doesn't work too good though, only use it in late fall or really early spring when its too cold out to use a chamois.

I use one on my truck and the trucks at my Fire Department. It works great to get the large areas and not have to towel/chaomis to much.

man the water blade is just to risky. get a shamwow. believe it or not they are amazing on vehicles. basic chamois though. the cali water blade just scares me on the paint. i only use it for the windows.

they make a better one.. not sure what it is called, but it looks like the same thing.. i work at a dealership and use that at least 20 times a day.. on cars and trucks that are worth new up to 60k

the reason that we use them is because we hand wash every vehicle, and to dry them off takes way to long.... so we use that to speed up the process by alot..

Tip.. keep a towel or clean napkin and whip it off before and after each use.. that way you wont leave any small scratches in the paint.
