Default CAI?????

Is the much of a difference between a K&N CAI or the cheap ones on ebay. Could one just buy a cheap on and run a K&N filter on it? Just wondering to try and save a couple dimes

Look at what kind of heatshield they use. Some just use the stock airbox bottom with an upper shield, some don't use one at all (look at where it would take the air from). Also, the K&N and AirAid recharge kits are availiable from all sorts of places. See if the eBay filters are servicable or disposable, and look at the dimensions.
