Default check engine p1521 p0406?

so my check engine light went on and my buddy checked the code and p1521 and p0406 showed up. anyone know exactly what these codes are. my buddy said it might be an egr code and i forgot what the other one was. all tips and answers will be greatly appreciated. thanks

The P0406 is indeed an EGR code. Go ahead and replace it. The P1521 means you are not running the correct weight oil in your Hemi. Change it to 5w-20.

is it hard to replace an egr or can i just clean it?

it may be located just off to the left and below the alternator held on with 2 small bolts one plug in on top, kind of hangs out in the air on a tube.

i also did a bit of searching & found this statement in Yahoo answers

As far as the 406 code, you would need to get a trouble tree and/or a wiring diagram for that circuit, and probably end up checking to see what the actual voltage levels are, including the reference signal, as well as the ground circuit, just to start. Could be a simple wiring problem. Not meaning to get your hopes up, I just don't want you to come crying to me after you've replaced the EGR Valve, Pressure Sensor, Position Sensor and so on, only to find out it was a broken wire.
