Yes, I have a turn signal and brake light that dont work on one side. I have recently bought the truck and have been looking at it trying to figure out what it is and found thast the wiring harness going to the side that is out has been spliced into one wire and looks like it is a ground.. But I am no happy with that at and would like to either fix it or buy a new wiring harness where would I purchase one or how would I go about fixing it .. I replaced the bulb and light socket and still no brake light or turn signal on the driver side.

I had the same problem I ended up Getting 2 new tail lights and replacing the turn signal relay on the fuse box. When i put the new lights in i just had someone step on the brake and use a test light to find out what wire got power. Im not sure what it was that fixed it but just go by trial and error. As far as the wiring harness goes i have yet to find one myself so if you find one could you let me know

Shane, seeing that this is your first post, I would like to start by Welcoming you to the Forumz! I also noticed that Cornfed jumped in to offer some advice. I am not smart in the electrical field at all, but if you stick around others with that knowledge will chime in. Best of luck!
