Default 03 2wd shackle help

Just bought a 2003 2wd ram hemi and need some help. I am wanting to lower the rear so it sits level with the front. My question is do I go with a 2" drop shackle and remove the helper spring? Also is one brand better than another one(djm,groundforce,belltech,etc...). Thanks alot for the help and any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can't really say a whole lot about the brands, I took a chance and went with a "budget friendly" shackle (aka cheap on eBay).

2" drop shackle, I didn't remove the overload spring though. The rear is right over an inch higher than the front now instead of 4 inches higher.

just lowered the truck using McGaughys Drop Shackle part #44002 and removed the overload spring. sits pretty damn level, very happy with the stance.
