Default let me know what you think

i know its not a name brand and it is cheap but i like the looks of it and all i really want it for is the sound that it makes when you have the "cold air intake". I dont go off roading with it so im not worried about that i just want a little noise form my hemi so let me know what you think thanks

Just be careful of sub standard filters. They tend to come apart and you end up sucking filter material down into your engine.

Cooler Intake Air & More Flow = Good
Filter media in the valvetrain or combustion chamber = Bad

I agree with Maddog. Another option... Buy the kit... and swap out the filters with K&N Clamp-able filters which are proven and more durable.

The look is pretty cool... but if you are going to go forit.. think of the future.

Oh... also make sure the hose is neoprene and not just colored nylon tubing.

Be careful with this though. This is NOT a cold air intake. If anything, this is a HOT air intake. There is not heat shields and the filters will just be taking air from directly above the engine. Sure, you'll probably get the cold air intake sound, but I doubt you'll get the benifits of a cold air induction system. Cooler air is denser and more combustible giving you the improvements over stock air intake systems. With this, it just might be loud. Good luck!

Welcome, I see this is your first post, so don't forget to stop by our newbie section to get the official welcome

As for the intake, agreed, it does look cool, and as was stated, I'd be worried about the amount of hot air it'd be putting into your engine, you might have to run higher octane just to avoid having the computer retard timing to avoid knocking.
