Default R/T wiring harness question

I have been looking for a 01-03 5.9 to swap into my jeep wrangler. The guys who specialize in the swap said I need 01-03 to match my TJ's 03 sensor.

I found a 99 dakota R/T. I am wondering if I can use the 5.9 and parts (Everything minus the wiring harness and computer) And then find a 01-03 computer to use instead.

Any ideas on this? I have been trying to find info, I am getting desperate so I figured I might have some luck here

The engines are the same. Some of the sensors may be a bit different so you'd need sensors that match the year of the donor PCM.

Will the 99 engine work with 01-03 wiring harness?

Should work just fine. There's a small chance you may need to change a sensor or plug here and there.

Can you buy new wiring harnesses? Or would I need to find one off a truck?

I just found an 01 auto 360. But I want to go manual. Is there a place that sells wiring harness and computer?
