That is just cool, one can never get tired of looking at pics of your truck, but that's one heck of a conversion process, thanks for sharing all the pics!

Was the dash available from dodge in RHD, or is that a 100% custom?

Good question, I don't think dodge made ANY RHD dash pieces, no need to. It's a custom piece made up by the RHD shop here in New Zealand. A typical RHD conversion will set you back around $18-$25,000 USD. Not cheap. Depends on the options to. Like 2 power seats, power windows, console, dash, etc. So having them make the dash etc is all part of that. Not all LHD vehicles have shops that convert them, in fact, there are only around a dozen vehicles RHD conversion shops will do and they are: Dodge Rams, modern Dodge Challengers, Hummers, Ford F150s, F250s & F350s, Chev Silverados, Chev Suburbans, Chev Supercabs, Cadillac Escalades, 06/07 Ford Mustangs and GMC Sierras. Their main crust are big pick ups, definitely. The shops choose what they feel will sell well buy 1 vehicle then go about designing an identical dash and conversion kit but RHD. Once they are happy, they simply use that as a mold for future kits and use it as a template.

Cheers,
Carl

That is impressive! When I looked over the pix, I could have sworn the dash was factory! Was very fresh in my mind, as I just finished detailing the interior of my 08 today, and your dash looks identical...just backwards!
Props to the RHD shop for making such authentic parts....and props to you for the amazing work that you have done to that truck.
I would normally be almost appalled when someone starts modding such a rare truck, but your mods have complimented an already great truck. You have make it 'your own' while keeping the SRT10 essence. Art & Engineering at it's finest!

BTW, Are you a photographer by trade?

Hi mate! Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. Photographer by trade, nope. Looking into it, just a part time hobby, like anything I've ever done, self taught. Been told I have "the eye" lol so I guess that's a good thing. The images you see were taken with a poxy 8 mega-pixel camera. I'll be looking into getting something grunty like a 25 megapixel SLR bad ass and then look at taking my photography to the next level. I know 1 car magazine editor down here so hopefully with a bit of time, fine tuning I could be one day a "pro photographer" and I'd welcome that. Be cool, I love taking photos, especially when it involves a long drive to the locations. I must admit, I'm very proud of my photos and the cars.

Cheers!

Very nice "eye" and yes, you do take some excellent shots! I think even being bad behind the lens, your truck would still come out looking great!

Thanks mate! I guess just a little common sense and time is what it takes. For example, the shot above had around 30+ leaves, stones and a few pebbles. I took this up top of a flight of 30 steps. If I spotted ANYTHING that I thought would hinder a great shot, I'd run down kick, move, sweep and remove it out of the way. Very annoying after 4-5 times up and down the stairs but well worth doing. Nothing worse than a nice car, parked in a driveway with "urban sprawl" left, right and center. Like rubbish bins, lampposts, firewood, other cars, rubbish, heaps of leaves, rocks etc that wouldn't usually be there, tire marks from driving into the location, shadows, you name it. Looks like arse and does nothing for the vehicle. A 5 minute drive in most cases will give you a better background to work with, again, just some patience and attention to detail. That and I have a very bad case of OCD LOL!! Overall, cars are like models, you have to give them a great platform to "work their magic". A hot girl looks much better dripping wet on a beach with waves rolling over her vs. standing outside her door on the driveway or out in a car park in front of Wallmart lol. A good location, decent camera and eye and BAM! Photos start rolling.

Cheers,
Carl

Very cool point, about the vehicle being the model that is, never thought about it like that, but feel free to showcase your pics here, we have no objections!
