Default Jackpot!!

My wife just gave me the green light to spend around $250 on my truck for fathers day! My first though was a leveling kit, but have concerns after reading some problem on the 09/10's. So I figure I can get a couple of things I am looking at a Fuel Filler door and Tow Hooks. Both of those add up to roughly $250 from Mopar. My question is are there any other places anyone has bought these products from for a good price? Maybe I can squeeze out 3 Mods if I can get a deal on the first two
Thanks in advance,
Clint

a chrome locking fuel door cost me like 50 at the auto store a few months ago and you could probably find cheaper tow hooks there, also you could try eBay

If you want to stick to mopar tow hooks then you can get them from the site supporting vendor Mopar Online parts. Check their price. If not, then just go with some generic tow hooks. As long as they fit, they you can save some money.

Like Hemi said, you can get a fuel door cheaper at an auto parts store or maybe even Ebay. I don't know what the difference in materials are but it's another way to save money.

I'd check out Mopar Online as well, they've got some great prices, and as always eBay is a great thing

For the tow hooks...get the Mopar tow hook kit...it's worth it!

ebay and craigslist are your friend.

if have the time and search different options there are deals to be had.
i scored a bunch of new mopar or new truck take-off parts on the cheap...sometimes free
when the truck was a year old, i was able to pull off a set of new tires with some money borrowed from the savings account and quite a bit of radar o'reilly skills. took a week and a half of being in the doghouse until the the truck was riding on bigger performance tires and the money was returned... haven't been hounded about mods to the truck since...

also do a little research on the fuel door - when i found mine, i found out that second gens used the same door but had an older part number. the seller will list them for only that range of years but it will fit others.

I was at my dealer today having my bed liner put in, ( just a drop in liner nothing special) and I ended up ordering the mopar tow hooks. Brads write up and pics along with rumbles sold me I think they look great. I also like that it seems like a pretty simple install. I won't be able to get to it untill next Wednesday though, I can't wait.
Blue thanks for the tip on the fuel filler door I will look into that.
Also for what it is worth I asked the guys in the parts departmen and service what they knew about the 2 Inch mopar leveling kit and they all looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language, they had no idea and said they haven heard anything about it.
