Default possible heater core leak

i have an 03 4.7L and i believe my heater core is leaking i lose coolant faster than normal an sometimes there will be a big puddle from pass side near front door and pass front floor board is soaked with coolant cant see any visible leaks but havent looked to hard been to busy if anyone knows anything about this let me know please

Sounds like it . See if the coolant is dripping out of the evaporator drain sticking out of the firewall . If so , for a temporary fix take both hoses off and join them together with a union . It will buy you some time . But don't hold off till the last minute to get it fixed .

Best thing i can tell ya . Drop the tailgate and as you remove parts , lay them out strategically with the hardware and you should be fine . Remember to disconnect your battery for 15 minutes before doing any work on it . You must let the airbags discharge .

put the temp fix in to cut off the heater core til i get it fixed and it worked i used a 5/8 hose adapter from oriellys its about $3 and havent seen anymore leaks so far ac works great and doesnt smell like coolant anymore i barely lost any coolant at all in the process
