Question iat sensor

i need to know if the sensor is right there on top the intake, AND, which wire is the neg(-), i assume it is the black, and which is the +5 wire, green or purple??

The IAT is in the air intake tube. The MAP sensor is in the intake.

this is for the v10 NOT the v6 that you have in your dakota.

there is NOTHING in the air intake tubing, if you had a ram v10 you would know this.

Of course! How foolish of me to look up the correct wiring diagram on Chryslers service info! So I made a mistake because I haven't seen one of those engines in a while. The 8.3 has it in the intake tube. I guess it never occurred to you to look at the wiring diagram and hunt down a 2 wire sensor with those color wires!
