Default need help with heating and ac problem

hi i have an issue with my heater and a/c, seems that my heater stays on even though my a/c is running. i am guesing that it could be the climite control switch anyone come acorss this problem, your help would be apresheated. thanks pat
sorry it is a 2000 dodge ram.

Most likely your control switch has gotten disconnected or is bad.

My '01 2500 was doing the same thing.
I removed the dash only to find that a $10 blend door coupling broke with the door opened on the hot side air.
The plastic coupling is mounted between the control motor and door.The motor and coupling can not be removed without pulling the dash.
I will be taking some pics.

BTW,I think I spent about $160 for the switch thinking that it was the problem.

If it's not switching from heat to A/C then I'd suspect the switch too.

If it doesn't switch from heat/floor vent to heat/dash vent or heat/defrost vent the I'd suspect the blend door.

Mine would switch but the door was stuck on the heat side.
