Default ? about vehicle brakes

Well I have an 02 1500 4x4 I get a surge in the vehicle when breaking from higher speeds I dont feel it in the peddle I dont feel it in the steering just feels like the trucks is bouncing. I dont know if that is a adequate description. I know warped rotors can cause a shimmy but wouldnt I feel that in the steering also. Any comments welcome. Thanks

yea warped rotors you will feel the truck vibrate like heck when coming to a stop. It may be that man. I never had anything like that happen to me so I do not know what it feel like first hand. Sorry, I am sure someone has had this experience

Is it a speed or idle surge vs. a shudder? Like some huge invisible hand is pushing you from behind?
