Default need help on some V-10 pictures or info

i just bought a 1994 3500 dually with 13,000 miles but it had been overheated and it cracked the timing cover and i need to see what it is supposed to look like because i have seen 2 different styles.

I'm not really sure what your after . I've never seen a cracked timing cover from a overheated engine . Did the cover explode or something ?

thanks for the bump, but i am not real sure what happened or ehy it happened, but the ownwer before us said that it ran hot, i am not sure why but it cracked the timing coverwhere the oil pump gear is, it only has 13000 miles and has been broken since at least 98 when we met the guy and it was broken then....but we sent the cover off to a machinist a while back and i never really looked at it and dad cant remember if is this one

Have you had a dealer pull the right part number by the VIN and compared them to that?

no i have not done that, we have the original one but it has been so long since we have seen it we cant remember it, the guy that was going to fix it is in canada on business so we wont get it back until tommorrow or the next day
