I dont recall getting many bugs on my hood in all the years Im driving. I thought it was some aerodynamic thing that maybe created a stream of air that helped redirect bugs of the windshield. Sorry for the stupidity.

I get the bug remains on the hood, lol. Seems they graze the grille at 70+ mph, skip across the hood and end up on the windshield. I have never had a bug shield because I didn't think they actually did any good, but I'm curious now.

I got my window visors painted Deep Water Blue Pearl at the dealers when I bought them.....They look like a part of the truck...It only cost me 75.00 for them to paint them for me...Check them out

Response I got from the Mopar supplier was to buy one of the already colored deflectors and have it painted.

Actually, the best thing to do for a bug deflector is to find a good clear one and have it painted on the underside so rocks and the like wont chip the paint off....As far as side window visors it really doesnt matter much. I have never received rock chips on side visors as long as I have had them on my vehicles.

That's a great idea. I never thought of doing that.
