Default Sport memory seats?

My father bought a nice new blue 2010 Sport and he was told it had the power memory seats, I'm just wondering if there is a way to know if it does or doesn't? I was under the impression there was 3 buttons not just 2 on the side of the seat? Thanks....

It will have power seats, but I'm pretty sure that just the Laramie gets the memory feature

Yep, you can't get memory seats in the Sport model. They are power seats but no memory function. One of the few things that keep the Laramie 'special' and make the Sport a tradeoff (the other is the transfer case).

Just to make sure, check the owners manual for the memory seat operation, then go look at the truck to see if the controls are there.

Well the salesperson told him it had the memory seat option, I know this for a fact because I was right there with him when she listed off the options. However, yes, when I looked at the operators book it talked about a 3rd button in the side of the seat which was the storing mode #'s... And that buttin wasn't there. Does anyone have any insight as to whether it could be added?? Thanks.

Go back to the dealer and have her show you how to make it work. There is no such option on the Sport. And no option to add it. Sorry. I'd go back and have a little fun with the salesperson though.

The memory seat is definitely a 4 control seat. 1 for height, 1 for lumbar, 1 for seat back position, and 1 for memory.
