I know the exact noise. Its like a high pitched whine almost, and around 60mph is most prominent. I think alot of people cant hear it, but I have a feeling its most if not all of the trucks. Ive seen others post about it and it seems dealers dont know what it is either (theres been a few posts elsewhere about the dealer not finding anything).

And for the last time, this is NOT NO TNOT NOT NOT NOT MDS kicking on, and you MUST be on the throttle to hear it (if you are doing 60mph and let off completely, itll go away).

I've noticed this sound with the radio off. Starts around 50mph +. Similiar to an axle or rear differential whine.

alright, so they heard the noise i was describing, and compared to other like models and they all do it too. so at least im not the only one that hears this noise. my dealer seems to think its the intake, but who knows, im not too worried anymore about it.they also did some recall or tsb that checks the radio for proper operation. thanks everyone for the help!
