my vin even says it , and when u hook up the star scan u can watch it disable the cyls. plus you can hear it in the exhaust. its not light duty i have the 4" axle tubes so what is mine a freak

if thats the case then why does it say it on the spec and build sheet ? i also have the bigger 4" axles and 11.5 aam rear. with my exhaust system you can hear the difference. when the star scan is connected you can watch it disable the cyls. i know of 4 other 5.7l 2500's with the same

just looked at the motor. to get a pic you have to remove the intake and thats not happening.

my sticker says I do have MDS but how do you know it is engaging on my truck. 06 quad cab 1500

The sound of the engine changing is the big give away. It's not that noticeable with the stock exhaust but you sure know it with an aftermarket setup.
